The Southeast Community College Apprenticeship program and Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corporation, U.S.A., celebrated their partnership as part of National Apprenticeship Week.

Nicholas Salestrom was named the 2023 Nebraska Community College Association Outstanding Faculty Member for Southeast Community College.

SCC’s Lincoln Campus will celebrate International Education Week Nov. 12-17 with several activities to highlight the benefits of cultural and academic exchange programs.

SCC received $15K from the Gene Haas Foundation on Oct. 30 to fund scholarships as well as pay for students to enter and travel to skills competitions.

A brunch to raise funds to support SCC students participating in the Nebraska state SkillsUSA competition will be held Saturday, Nov. 11.

The internship program at the Nebraska Office of the Chief Information Officer started in 2015 with several SCC students taking advantage of the experience.

SCC is one of 30 Nebraska colleges and universities receiving scholarship funds from the EducationQuest Foundation for the 2023-2024 academic year.

The Southeast Community College Office of Work-Based Learning is teaming with Lancaster County and the American Job Center Workforce Administration on the Counties for Career Success initiative.
