The primary responsibility of the webmaster is to manage and develop the top-level pages of SCC's public website, www.southeast.edu. The focus is on a consistent look and feel, continually updating content and messaging, the organization and presentation of information, and the imagery and visuals.
SCC uses a Content Management System, a powerful tool that allows the College website to provide relevant online resources in a user-friendly way, while at the same time maintaining a consistent, professional look that reflects SCC's status as a high-quality higher education option in the state of Nebraska.
The webmaster can help internal clients improve their Web presence and provide analytics for specific areas of the College. Other responsibilities include:
- Perform research and analysis through site reviews, usability testing, online surveys, Web traffic analysis, card sorting exercises, and link tracking;
- Maintain and disseminate SCC Web standards;
- Explore new and changing Web-related technologies;
