SCC is joining colleges and universities across the country in celebrating National Transfer Student Week on Oct. 19-23, as a time to recognize the students who carry their learning and determination from one college to the next.
SCC named Brooke Hay its new Vice President of Campus Operations and Development. A professional civil engineer, she brings 25 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education and public K-12 systems.
11 SCC students attended Veterans Mission of Mercy, where they helped provide dental care for underserved veterans.
SCC continues its sustained upward trajectory, marking its seventh consecutive fall semester of growth with a total enrollment of 11,591 students.

Looking back on this journey, I'm truly grateful for all of the experiences SCC has provided me. I remember stepping into college as a shy, anxious student who was solely focused on getting good grades. However, SCC has allowed me to gain new experiences and meet new people all while challenging myself. This has helped me blossom into a more confident version of myself. I have SCC to thank for helping me grow as a person while still being true to myself.
