Office of Work-Based Learning
The Office of Work-Based Learning is on a mission to Create Pathways for All. The City of Lincoln awarded Southeast Community College $4.8 million as part of the American Rescue Plan to create a work-based learning center which will customize reskilling/upskilling training for eligible participants including apprenticeships, internships and other asymmetrical workforce development opportunities in high-demand sectors.
We recognize that the traditional college degree path isn't the perfect fit for everyone. That's why, in today's rapidly evolving workforce, we're committed to meeting the diverse needs of individuals at every stage of their career journey.
Whether you're a Young Adult wanting to get started on your career, a Career-Changer looking to pivot into a new field, an English Language Learner wanting to build your skills, or a seasoned professional aiming for advancement, we can help you reach your goals through options including apprenticeships, credit for prior learning, and micro-credentials.
