Program Description

The Integrated Technologies program allows you to customize a career path across two more programs in the ever-changing technological landscape. The interdisciplinary nature of this program opens up a wide variety of career options as a technician in technology-related industries.

This integrated concept across disciplines provides an adaptable approach to education in today’s changing workforce by emphasizing fundamental skills that transcend specific job roles that could be applied to evolving industry trends, technology and emerging career fields.

An Integrated Technologies degree prepares you for career advancement by combining two or more of our program areas. Examples of careers include:

  • IT Manager in Healthcare
  • Medical Equipment Technician
  • Fire Alarm Technician

Students in SCC’s Integrated Technologies program have a desire to explore new ideas and technologies in an ever-changing work environment. They are creative and have the ability to solve problems through effective collaboration with diverse teams. They are also organized and detail oriented.

You can start in the Fall, Spring or Summer terms. Follow these steps to finish your application:

  2. Need help exploring career opportunities or navigating the admissions process? Schedule an appointment with an Admissions Counselor.
  3. Ready to apply? Complete an Application for Admission.
  4. Submit ACT, SAT, Next Generation Accuplacer, or Accuplacer test scores (reading and math) or official college transcripts showing completion of post-secondary coursework in English and math to the Admissions Office at any SCC location.


State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement Institution

Southeast Community College is a State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement Institution (NC-SARA) institution. As such, SCC is unable to offer online or distance courses to students in the following areas at this time: American Samoa, Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
