How hands-on is the Ford ASSET program?
You will spend 60% of your time in the lab using special factory tools and online Ford resources. You'll work on late-model vehicles donated by Ford, including a 2022 Ford Bronco and a 2022 Mustang Mach E. This hands-on approach prepares you for real-world situations you'll face as a technician.
Does the Ford ASSET program help with professional certification?
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) gives SCC students who complete the Ford ASSET program credit for one year of the two-year requirement to become an ASE certified technician. This certification helps you earn more money and advance your career faster.
What are the instructors like in the Ford ASSET program?
Our Ford ASSET instructors bring industry experience to the classroom. They'll teach you how to diagnose and repair Ford vehicles from bumper to bumper. Our small class sizes give you plenty of one-on-one attention and access to equipment, helping you master the skills you need.
