Life Insurance
A minimum of $50,000 in life insurance coverage and $50,000 in accidental death and dismemberment coverage is available for eligible employees.
Long Term Disability Insurance
Long term disability insurance is available for eligible employees.
Retirement Plan
A group retirement plan through TIAA is available to eligible employees, and the College contributes an amount equal to the employee's contribution, up to 9%. Eligible employees age 30 and above are required to participate. Additionally, TIAA offers Tax Sheltered Annuities.
Social Security
Employees are covered by the Federal Social Security Plan. The College withholds from employee wages the amount equal to the Federal Social Security Plan requirement for that year, and the College provides an equivalent amount.

Tuition Waiver for SCC Courses
The College offers 100% tuition remission for eligible employees, their spouses, and eligible tax dependents for SCC credit and non-credit courses.
Tuition Reimbursement
Eligible employees shall have the opportunity to receive tuition reimbursement for undergraduate, graduate, or advanced degree credit courses with supervisor approval. See terms in College policies or negotiated agreements.
Worker's Compensation
All employees are covered by insurance for expenses involved with an on-the-job accident.
