Global Education Award
The Global Education Award is designed to give the SCC Global Education Team an opportunity to recognize faculty and staff who promote, foster and encourage global education at SCC through various avenues, including education/teaching, project/ activity development, or engagement/ participation in Global Education and Diversity activities on campus and/or in the community.
The purpose of this award is to recognize faculty and staff who make contributions and a commitment to connecting “cultural differences between people from diverse backgrounds.”
- Staff, faculty and students can nominate a staff or faculty member
- Self-nominations are welcome
- The selection committee includes current Global Education team members
- Each academic year one faculty and one staff member will be chosen
- Nominations for Faculty/Instruction due by October 1st, Nominations for Staff due by March 15th
- Winners will be honored during International Week and our Spring Event each year
