quotations[1]= '
GET YOUR HANDS
ON SCC

"If you really like working on cars and have a passion for it, then check out your options. Southeast Community College is the only hands-on school that I would recommend. It offers the most bang for your buck, and it gives you a career foundation and skill set that you can take anywhere. SCC gave me a solid foundation that led me down the path to my career. The teachers and classes give you such a wealth of information and knowledge, all you have to do is take in as much as you can. I could not have made it where I am without SCC. The price that you pay for what you take with you is pennies on the dollar. Obviously, I went through two programs and would have taken many more if I had time. My teachers are so willing to help no matter what the situation. It\'s a resource of amazing individuals who are very intelligent and professionals in their field. I can\'t say enough good things about Southeast. The school deserves more recognition than it can ever receive."

ASHLEY WICK
Lead Technician,
Woodhouse Performance,
Lincoln, NE
Auto Collision Repair Technology Graduate, 2004
Automotive Technology
Graduate, 2006
';

quotations[9]= '
GET YOUR HANDS
ON SCC

“Science is not a simple word. At SCC, science is a career. The Laboratory Science Technology program at SCC not only gave me the science background, but also a technical instruction in which science is founded to make industry work. From the very first day of class until the last day, I could feel my instructor’s commitment to help students to not only get a job, but also to be prepared for what is more important, ‘a very good understanding of how science and technology are related.’ Now, as a fermentation laboratory operator at UNL, everything I learned at SCC helped me to have a very easy adaptation to my work environment, a very good technical operation of instruments for analysis, and a very good understanding of what the fermentation process is all about. I was offered the job assisting with building custom motorcycles and was the first non-Californian hired. They were totally impressed with the skills and certifications I brought to the job, and even with recent layoffs, I have continued to remain employed because of the skills I received from SCC. West Coast Choppers is the home of “Monster Garage” from the Discovery Channel, and a new series to premiere in February 2009 on Spike TV called “Jesse James is a Dead Man.” I never anticipated that my career path would enable me to work with Jesse James and the best of the best. quotations[17]= '
GET YOUR HANDS
ON SCC

“I selected SCC because of the small class sizes and the personal attention each of its students receives; that was important to me. SCC prepared me for my previous job and ultimately led me to my current job. Without my degree from SCC, I would not have been offered my consulting job and I would not be in the great career that I have today. What impressed me about my SCC classes was the relevancy of the coursework, the knowledgeable and friendly instructors; I felt that they really cared about my education. They listened to my questions and took the time to make sure I understood the answer. To any student considering SCC I can tell you that the experience you will gain by going to SCC is tremendously useful in securing a good job or career. You definitely get what you pay for and more! And when you change jobs, SCC’s Placement Center will be there, even if it is years down the road. SCC also is a great stepping stone to advance your education.
